Founding and Establishment (2001–2011)
In 2001, the company’s predecessor, “Guangzhou Baiyunshan Hanfang Modern Traditional Chinese Medicine Research and Development Co., Ltd.,” was established. In 2002, it applied to become a National Engineering Research Center and, in 2007, successfully passed the national development and reform commission’s rigorous acceptance review, receiving official accreditation. In 2011, the company invested in establishing “Tibet Linzhi Guangyao Development Co., Ltd.,” laying out its upstream resource base.
Integration and Upgrading (2012–2020)
In 2012, the company officially changed its name to “Guangzhou Baiyunshan Hanfang Modern Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.” During this period, it set up the “Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Medicinal Lipids,” and its products obtained registration with the U.S. FDA, marking the start of its internationalization journey.
Soaring Growth and Breakthroughs (2021–present)
In 2022–2023, the company achieved pivotal technological breakthroughs: medium-chain triglyceride and refined olive oil APIs were successively approved for market launch, breaking the long-standing foreign monopoly. In 2023, it was awarded the “National May Day Labor Award,” and in 2024, it was selected as a national-level “Little Giant” enterprise specializing in niche fields and demonstrating innovative strength, while also being recognized as a “National Green Factory.” In 2025, the company successfully attracted strategic investment exceeding RMB 100 million from Guangzhou Industrial Investment, completing financing under a mixed-ownership reform framework.
